GREAT NEWS!!! Last month I graduated from the first three year training program in Neuro-Acupuncture. This course of study was organized and taught by cutting edge Neuro-Acupuncturists Jason and Linda Hao. The course was dynamic, complex, thorough and excellent. I am so very thankful for the generosity of the Hao’s in sharing their vast and unique knowledge with all of us in the training.
Neuro-Acupuncture is a technique which applies acupuncture needling to the scalp in order to effect the health and function of the brain and the central nervous system. It is most effective in treating nervous system disorders such as post stroke symptoms, MS, autism, traumatic brain injury, peripheral neuropathy, vertigo and balance issues, PTSD, tremor, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, phantom pain and various types of pain.
As stated by Jason and Linda Hao, “By stimulating areas associated with motor, sensory or other functional impairment, brain cells are induced to make new connections and surrounding neurons are recruited to reform circuitry and restore the lost abilities.” If you are interested in learning more about this amazing approach to neurological issues please visit the Neuro-Acupuncture Institute for information, videos and to locate a Neuron-Acupuncturist in your area.
